Balearics Holiday Hot Spots

There is so much to see and do in the Balearic's that it is not a case of deciding what to see, but more of deciding on what you simply cannot afford to miss. There are beaches galore, cities such as Palma and Mahon which have enough cultural attractions to fill up those long hot days and man made resorts and attractions which have been designed to offer both young and old fun, fun and more fun!

Family Days out

  • Take a trip to Marineland in Majorca to see the largest collection of sharks in Europe, with performing dolphins, exotic birds, aquarium, crocodiles and a reptile zoo on show too. Not for the squeamish!

  • You have heard of Ayers Rock in Australia, well in Ibiza there is EsVedrá Rock, which is actually higher than its more famous relative. It is an impressive sight and the perfect place to get back to nature

  • Placa Major is the ideal place to behave like a tourist. This is a big pedestrian square with an abundance of shops and restaurants and is a good starting point for a day spent wandering around and taking in the atmosphere

Party Central

  • Want to dance the night away to international recognised DJ’s in some of the world’s most famous clubs? San Antonio in Ibiza is the place to go

  • Already ticked Ibiza off of your partying list? Then Magaluf in Majorca is a popular alternative. Bright lights, cheap drinks, affordable accommodation; what more could you want?

  • Alcudia is a more family friendly resort which has plenty of bars, restaurants and pubs suitable for adults as well as kids of all ages

Sandy Beaches

  • The first thing that springs into mind when thinking of a Balearics holiday is beaches – and there are some of the best in the whole Mediterranean found here

  • Chill out at the picturesque CalaGaldana in Menorca for the ultimate relaxation experience

  • Ibiza has some fantastic hidden beaches far away from the party hotspots favoured by returning holidaymakers. Find you own piece of beach heaven and you too could become a repeat Ibiza booker like so many others

Hints & Tips

Head to Palma and visit the historical sites. It has a fascinating history and will help break up all that time spent on the beaches
The Balearics enjoy year round sunshine, so if you want a warmer winter than you will get back home, a trip will help warm up your bones when everyone else is shivering in the snow!
Make sure you indulge in some of the locally caught seafood when in the Balearics. It takes some beating and is reasonably priced to boot
